AirSpeed Snaphead
Is the small vane, or propeller, missing in your AirSpeed Sensor or AirSpeed/2 measuring probe? This probably happened when the measuring head was held directly on the slot of the uhle box, without the press felt in between. In that situation, the vane rotates too hard and can break out.
When the vane is missing, or too dirty to be cleaned, or no longer running smoothly, it can be easily replaced with a new AirSpeed Snaphead. No need to buy a whole new probe, just take off the white plastic measuring head, remove the old snaphead, position the new snaphead (push until you hear the snap) and re-install the plastic measuring head. Fast and cheap!
The AirSpeed Snaphead has the standard measuring range of up to 20 m/s.
